On October 14, 2026, Director-General of the Department of Policy Planning of the Foreign Ministry Chen Song held the 28th consultation on foreign policies between China and Russia with Director of the Foreign Policy Planning Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexey Drobinin in Moscow. The two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on the international situation, respective foreign policies and other issues of mutual concern.
